What are the height restrictions for the flumes at the Blue Lagoon?

You must be 1.1 metres to ride any of the Flumes at the Blue Lagoon. Unfortunately if you do not meet this height restriction then you won’t be allowed to ride the flumes.

The wild water slide also has an age restriction where any bather under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over, you will still need to meet the height restriction.

What is the supervision policy for the Blue Lagoon?

The supervision requirements are as follows:

  • Under 4 year olds must have 1 to 1 supervision from an adult who is at least 18 years old.
  • 4-7 year olds must be accompanied by 1 adult 18 years + to 2 children.
  • 8-11 years olds require an adult 18 years + who will remain in the building whilst they swim.
  • 12+ years do not require any supervision providing they are confident swimmers, however we urge all visitors to ensure they are aware of the closing times so they can collect their children.

What are the age limits for the indoor spa and outdoor spa pools in the Blue Lagoon?

To use the indoor spa pools you must be ages 16+ years. To use the outdoor spa pool you must be ages 12+ years. This is due to health and safety guidelines.
