We have structured our web site(s) so that, in general, you can visit our website(s) without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. Q. What information does Bluestone collect ?

A:When you browse our websites, we do not collect personal information about you. The only way we can collect any kind of personal information is if you give it to us. We also collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you visit many of our Web pages such as the type of browser you are using (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system you are using (e.g., Windows XP or Mac OS), and the domain name of your Internet service provider (e.g., BT, AOL, Virgin media), IP address used to access our website(s), type of device (eg iPhone, iPad, Android Phone etc)

When you view our site by linking from another web page we may store the name of that web page for purposes of internal administration and any contact with Bluestone, either online or by telephone, may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.

When we send you email correspondence in HTML format we use email open and click tracking technology to see whether you have opened the email, the type of device used to read the email, which links you have clicked (if any). This data is used to monitor open rates to ensure that we are able to provide you with the most relevant information regarding our products and services and to tailor and personalise the correspondence we send out. To book a stay with us, we will need to collect information about you to deal with your booking as smoothly as possible. A. Yes. We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and organisational controls to safeguard the information we collect online and over the telephone.


A: A cookie is a piece of information that is deposited by our server when you visit our website and is stored on your computer’s hard drive by your web browser. This makes it easier for Bluestone to identify you, to personalise your experience when you visit our website and to analyse< web traffic. When corresponding with you via HTML capable e-mail, Web beacons let us know whether you received and opened our e-mail,what email client/web browser was used to view it, what time you view it, how many times you viewed it, if you clicked any links, if you forwarded it to a friend (But not who you forwarded it to). This technology is used to ensure that we are able to send out e-shots at a the times that most suit you, that the content is relevant and to personalise the communication.
