Lifeguards from Blue Lagoon are heading into schools throughout West Wales to provide potentially life-saving advice on how young people can be safe this summer when swimming in the sea, local rivers and along the region’s coast.

Throughout June and July, lifeguards from the Blue Lagoon water park near Narberth are visiting a number of schools in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion to teach children the importance of staying safe in the holidays with its Get Safe 4 Summer campaign.

Scarlets and Wales internationals Liam Williams and Scott Williams will be in Pembrokeshire next week to find out for themselves what the Blue Lagoon’s After Dark event is all about.

Fans will be able to meet the rugby pair and get their autograph during their visit on Thursday, 17th April from 6pm at the Blue Lagoon water park at Bluestone National Park Resort near Narberth.

Scott has been capped 25 times with Wales, while Liam has nine caps after his debut against the Barbarians in 2012.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming Liam and Scott to the Blue Lagoon and After Dark. It’ll be a great night with plenty of fun,” said Yvonne Buckingham, Head of Marketing at Bluestone.

Visitors to After Dark will be able to meet the players before having a splashtastic time at After Dark which is taking place throughout the Easter holidays from 6pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until 26th April.

Tickets are £4.95 to After Dark and include the chance to meet Scott and Liam this Thursday.
